Join Shark Stewards on our unique Sharktober educational adventures to the Farallon Islands.
There are hundreds of Humpback Whales feeding in our Sanctuary, Blue Whales, Fin Whales, leaping Thresher Sharks, Albatross and Shearwaters, even rare Leatherback Sea Turtles!
Sharktober is upon us and the white sharks are returning from their 4000 miles plus round trip migration. We only book a few exclusive trips in the fall when the white sharks return and the weather is clement for our passengers and college students.
Join Shark Stewards on a wildlife expedition, learning about sharks and maybe even see a shark predation event.
We do talk shark!

Founded in 2006 to combat the shark fin trade, Shark Stewards initiated the California Shark Fin movement leading to the passage of the California Shark fin ban. We created these Sharktober outreach events to celebrate sharks, and educate the public on why they deserve protection.
We have lead and assisted in eleven other US states and are actively supporting the Federal Shark Fin Trade Elimination Actl, We supported CITES protections for Mobula Rays and 4 species of shark in 2016, and are working on Blue Shark Protections for 2018.
We are active in southeast Asia reducing shark fishing and the shark fin trade in Asia.
Our mission is to restore ocean health by saving sharks fron overfishing and the shark fin trade, and protecting critical marine habitat.
Please join us celebrating sharks, volunteering or donating so we can continue to fight for sharks at www.sharkstewards.org
